# CRAPS

Craps is played with two dice by throwing the dice from one end of the table to the other. Payoffs are made based on the number combination displayed when the dice come to rest.

### Betting the Pass Line

A game in Craps begins with a "Come Out" roll. When the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 on the first throw (the Come-out roll) it is an automatic win. If 2, 3 or 12 rolls, it is called "craps" and you lose your Pass Line bet.

Any other number on the "Come Out" roll (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) becomes your "Point". Your "Point" will be marked with an "ON" marker. You win if you can roll the "Point" before you roll 7. You lose if 7 shows before you roll your "Point". Pass Line bets cannot be removed once the point is established. Place these bets in the area marked "Pass Line" on the table.

Payout Rate: | Even money (1:1) |

### Betting the Don't Pass Bar

This is the reverse of betting the "Pass Line" on the come out roll. You lose on a 7 or 11, and win if a 2 or 3 rolls (12 is a "standoff," no one wins). If the dice roll 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 it becomes your "Point". You win if you roll a 7 before your "Point" is repeated. You lose if your "Point" is made before rolling a 7. Place these bets in the area marked "Don't Pass Line" on the table.

Payout Rate: | Even money (1:1) |

### Come Bets

(Same principle as a Pass Line bet) "Come" bets is wagering with the dice, exactly as on the "Pass Line," except that "Come" bets are made any time after the "Come-out" roll. You win on "naturals" 7 or 11, and you lose on "craps" 2, 3 or 12. Any other number becomes your "come-point" (your chips move to the "come-point"). You win if your "come-point" is made before rolling a 7. You lose if 7 is rolled before your "come-point". Place these bets in the area marked "Come" on the table.

Payout Rate: | Even money (1:1) |

### Don’t Come Bets

(Same principle as a Don't Pass Line bet) The reverse of betting the "Come." You lose if the next roll is a 7 or 11, and win on a 2 or 3 (12 is a "stand-off"). Here you will win if 7 rolls before your "Don't Come Point" is repeated, and lose if the "Don't Come Point" is made before a 7 is rolled. Place these bets in the area marked "Don't Come Bar" on the table.

Payout Rate: | Even money (1:1) |

### Place Win Bets

You may make a "Place Win Bet" any time on any or all of the following numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. If the number you have "placed" rolls before a 7 you win. Payouts are at the following rates:

Dice Roll | Payout Rate |
---|---|

Point: 4 or 10 | $9.00 for each five dollars wagered |

Point: 5 or 9 | $7.00 for each five dollars wagered |

Point: 6 or 8 | $7.00 for each six dollars wagered |

*Any "Place Win" bets placed before a "point" has been established will be marked with an "OFF" marker. As soon as the "point" has been made their chip value will display and the bet will become active.

### Place Lose Bets

Similar to a "Place Win Bet" except you are paid if you roll a seven before the number you have "placed". Payouts are at the following rates:

Dice Roll | Payout Rate |
---|---|

Point: 4 or 10 | $5.00 for each eleven dollars wagered |

Point: 5 or 9 | $5.00 for each eight dollars wagered |

Point: 6 or 8 | $4.00 for each five dollars wagered |

### Buy Bets

A buy bet is the same as a place bet, but with a different payout rate. To distinguish the buy bet from a "COME" bet the wager is labeled with a "BUY" marker. "BUY" bets are usually made on the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. A 5% commission is charged on winning "BUY" bets. Payouts are at the following rates:

Dice Roll | Payout Rate |
---|---|

Point: 4 or 10 | $2.00 for each one dollars wagered |

Point: 5 or 9 | $3.00 for each two dollars wagered |

Point: 6 or 8 | $6.00 for each five dollars wagered |

### Lay Bets

The opposite of a buy bet. A lay bet will be labeled with a "LAY" marker. Lay bets are usually made on the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. A Lay bet wins when 7 rolls before the number. A 5% commission is charged on winning "LAY" bets. Payouts are at the following rates:

Dice Roll | Payout Rate |
---|---|

Point: 4 or 10 | $1.00 for each two dollars wagered |
